I think roundtable is good as an idea, but can’t really see it happening. First of all, in which language are we to hold the discussion? Who is going to moderate? And even if these are somehow solved, I think it will be hugely unbalanced in the amount of contribution each one of us makes. Some of us might not write anything at all because the direction of the discussion is not what he/she is interested in, or for some other reasons.
My feeling is that interviewing each other is a good middle point. We can determine the content, less restriction and we can portray ourselves in any way we want. After all, the function of the interview is to put our work in the context of our history, reflection and agenda behind our practice, etc.
Any more thoughts on the plastic folder?
